Troubleshooting MAMP & Wordpress
Getting “Error establishing a connection” or “404 Not found” errors while trying to install and configure MAMP & Wordpress? No worries, watch this for the solution:

Here’s a few more handy tips to remember:
- Make sure you are in an OS X user account that has admin-level privileges
- Make sure you have downloaded the LATEST version of both Wordpress and MAMP
- Make sure MAMP is in fact running (two green lights)
- Make sure the directory that contains your wordpress installation (within the htdocs folder) is named using only lowercase letters, and does not contain any spaces or other symbols
